I’m really confused by the example of ice loss on Greenland. Yes, Greenland experiences ice gain as during the winter, temperatures are below freezing. However, the ice loss in the summer tends to be greater than ice gain in the winter. Checking a single day as proof that Greenland isn’t “melting” doesn’t make sense.

I work in the petroleum industry, and many within the industry accepts global climate change & the impact of carbon dioxide on temperatures. It will take time to transition to a non-petroleum based energy grid, and even after a transition to “clean” energy, petroleum production will still be required for many of the other products produced from oil.
